Adding Banner on Category Page

In Category Merchandising, the Banner Management option is used to add the Banner image on category pages.

How to add Banner on the category page?

1. For Magento and other platforms:
   Login into Klevu Merchant Center (https://box.klevu.com) with your registered email id and password
   For Shopify:
   Login into Shopify Admin → Apps → Klevu Search.
2. Choose the appropriate store from the drop down and click on the Smart Category Merchandising tab 
3. Under Smart Category Merchandising, click on Banner Management button  
4. In Banner Management, click on Add New button to add the banner on category page 
5. Here, provide the following information,
   • Category: Here, select the category to which you want to add the banner image
   • After selecting the category, provide the following information
   • Image URL: Klevu offers support for two types of image banners
     1. Desktop-specific image banner
        Recommended Desktop Image Dimensions: 1100px X 265px
     2. Mobile-specific image banner
        Recommended Mobile Image Dimensions: 375px X 115px
        
        Develop device-specific image(s); upload it to your server and provide desktop or mobile banner image URLs.
   • Target URL: Users will be redirected to it when they click on the banner
   • Duration: Time frame for which the banner should be active 
     
6. Click on the Save and Publish button. Please allow up to 20 minutes for the changes to be visible on the category pages

Important Note:

For Magento stores: If Native theme layout is enabled on your store then please use the Magento admin panel to add the banner on category pages.
