Setting up Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)

Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) adds an extra layer of security to your Klevu Merchant Center (KMC) account, ensuring that only authorized users can access Klevu accounts.

Currently, Klevu provides 2FA by email.

This document provides a step-by-step guide on enabling 2FA for your KMC account. There are two ways 2FA can be setup:

  1. If you are an account owner, you can enforce 2FA for all your KMC users including yourself.
  2. If you are not an account owner, you can set up 2FA for your login only.

1) Account Owners: Setting up 2FA for all your users

  1. Sign in to your Klevu Merchant Center(KMC) account.
  2. From the top right menu, click Settings → User Management.
  3. Enable the 2FA toggle to enforce two-factor authentication for all your KMC users. Once enabled, 2FA will be required from the next login.

2) Setting up 2FA for my login

  1. Sign in to your Klevu Merchant Center(KMC) account.
  2. From the top right menu, click SettingsProfileTwo-Factor Authentication (2FA).
  3. Enable the toggle. 2FA will be required from the next login.
If your account owner has enforced 2FA, then the switch will be disabled.

How do I confirm that my team has set up 2FA?

As an account owner, if you have not enforced 2FA for all your users, you can view which of your teammates have setup 2FA by going to Settings → User Management. Against each user, you can see if 2FA has been set up or not.
